Former Carlyle Australia chief Simon Moore has put both of his Sunshine Coast holiday homes on the market.
Mr Moore is a director at Coates Hire, and recently joined the board of TPI Enterprises as a non-executive director.
The Bondi Beach-based businessman has listed his properties at 20 and 22 Arakoon Crescent for $6.25 million and $5.95 million respectively.
Records show Mr Moore bought No. 20, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms for $4.7 million in 2004. He then bought the four-bedroom, three-bathroom home at No. 22 for $6.64 million four years later.
Milan Markanovic, of Tom Offermann Real Estate, said both properties offer “substantial value” for the area, given his recent sale of a block of land at 24 Arakoon Crescent for $5.25 million.
20 Arakoon Crescent is the more contemporary of the two homes, designed by Frank Macchia with “beautiful views of the headland”.
On the top floor in the expansive living area with ocean views and the main bedroom suite. Downstairs is a second living space with bedroom, bathroom and laundry.
The third bedroom is located above the garage, and also comes with water views.
Neighbouring 22 Arakoon Crescent is “more of a laid back beach house”, with a separate self contained unit downstairs he said would be “great for older kids”.
The living area flows onto the deck with great water views, and there’s also a pool on the right hand side of the house.
Both properties are “neat and immaculate”, and have direct access to the beach.
